(Windsor, ON) –┬áKyle McDonald had his first two-goal game in the OHL, but the Spits fell short in a 6-3 loss to the Otters in Erie on Saturday night.

Chat Yetman (4, 5) had a pair in a winning cause, as the Otters exacted a little revenge for a 2-1 Spitfires win back on Thursday night in Windsor.

Daniel D’Amato (3) Jamie Drysdale (2), Kurtis Henry (2) and Austen Swankler (first OHL goal) rounded out the scoring for Erie.

Connor Corcoran (1) had the other goal for Windsor (3-1-0-0), which split their first two home games of the season.

Kari Piiroinen made 24 saves in taking the loss, while Aidan Campbell (27 saves) won for the second time in two OHL starts.

The Spits are back home to begin a brand new week, as the Ottawa 67s visit the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.
