(Windsor, Ontario) – Jeremiah Addison’s offensive tear continued Saturday in a 4-2 win over the Flint Firebirds in front of 5,707 at the WFCU Centre.

The speedy winger, acquired over the summer from the Ottawa 67s, scored his team-leading 15th and 16th goals as the Spitfires wrapped 2016 with a 23rd win.

The first – the eventual game winner – at 11:02 of the second period gave the Spits a 3-2 lead they wouldn’t relinquish. His second provided plenty of insurance a little more than five minutes later.

Aaron Luchuk (14) and Luke Boka (7) had the other goals for Windsor (23-7-4-1), which got a solid, 21-save performance from Mario Culina.

Ryan Moore had both goals for Flint (17-17-0-2) in support of Garrett Forrest’s 20-save effort.

The Spits are off for a couple days and will prepare for a visit from the London Knights, this Tuesday, January 3rd.
