The Spitfires added a veteran scorer today in the person of Jeremiah Addison.

The club also gets Ottawa’s 15th round pick in 2018 in the deal, while Ottawa gets Windsor’s 15th round pick in 2018 and a pair of additional conditional draft picks.

A 6’0, 189-pound left winger, Addison set career highs in goals (27), assists (29) and penalty minutes (74), in 66 games in 2015-16, adding a goal and two assists in four playoff games.

He was a 7th round pick of the Montreal Canadiens (#207) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

“We’re excited to add an explosive winger like Jeremiah,” said Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel. “His speed and goal scoring ability will be a big boost to our top-six.”

In 258 regular season games over Ontario Hockey League seasons with Saginaw and Ottawa, Addison has scored 59 times, adding 77 assists along with 220 penalty minutes.
