Spitfires Trade Coulson Pitre to the Flint Firebirds

The Windsor Spitfires have traded 2020 4th rounder Coulson Pitre to the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a 15th round pick in 2023 and a conditional 6th round pick in 2023. Conditions were not disclosed.

Pitre who is a Stouffville, ON native played for the Richmond Hill Coyotes before being selected by the Spitfires in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft. After the 2020-21 season was cancelled due to the covid pandemic, Pitre attended the 2021 Spitfires training camp last weekend and performed well as he made it to the annual Blue and White game.

“Coulson is an OHL caliber player and this gives him an opportunity to play in our league.” Said Spitfires GM Bill Bowler. “We wish him the best in Flint.”
