The Windsor Spitfires will host “Ryan Ellis Night” at the WFCU Centre on Friday, November 26, 2010, as they host the Oshawa Generals.

Prior to the game, there will be a special ceremony to celebrate Ellis setting the team’s all-time career scoring record for points by a defenceman.

Ellis broke the record on November 10, 2010, registering his 230th career point with an assist on the game-winning goal in Windsor’s 5-4 overtime victory against the London Knights, at the WFCU Centre.

The old record (229) was held by Joel Quenneville, who played for the Spitfires from 1975-1978.
