DIPIETRO NAMED VAUGHN OHL GOALIE OF THE MONTH

(Windsor, ON) – Michael DiPietro is the Vaughn Hockey Ontario Hockey League goaltender of the month for December.

The highlight of the month came in a three-game stretch through Barrie, Sudbury and North Bay – December 8th through 11th – during which he shutout all three teams; each of which had their annual “Teddy Bear Toss” nights spoiled, with the home team not scoring.

In nine December games, the 2017 NHL Draft top prospect went 6-2-0-0, with a sizzling 1,48 GAA and .940 save percentage, to go with his three shutouts and a streak of 209 minutes and 23 seconds without allowing a goal.
