Bob Boughner President Bob Boughner is entering his fifth season as President of the Windsor Spitfires after also serving as the Spitfires Head Coach for the previous four seasons. During his four seasons as President and Head Coach, Boughner led the team to successes unparalleled in Spitfire history, culminating in consecutive MasterCard Memorial Cup and Rogers OHL Championships achieved during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. Windsor also became only the seventh team in CHL history to win back to back MasterCard Memorial Cup Championships. In July of 2010, Boughner stepped down as Head Coach of the Windsor Spitfires after the Columbus Blue Jackets hired him to serve as an Assistant Coach with the NHL's Blue Jackets for the upcoming season.
During Boughner's tenure as Head Coach, the Spitfires posted an impressive 166-80-26 regular season record along with the team's two best regular season finishes in team history, a 57 win and 115 point season in 2008-2009 as well as a 50 win and 106 point performance in 2009-2010. This was the first time in team history that the Spitfires have posted consecutive 50 win and 100+ point seasons. Furthermore, the 2008-2009 Spitfire squad also won the Hamilton Spectator trophy, as they secured an OHL regular season championship for the second time in Spitfire history.
Boughner earned two consecutive CHL and OHL Coach of the Year awards in the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 campaigns. With these honours, Boughner became the first Head Coach in CHL history to have won two CHL Coach of the Year and MasterCard Memorial Cup championships. He also served as the Head Coach of Team Canada's Under-18 National squad and led them to a perfect 4-0 record and the gold medal at the 2009 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament in the Czech Republic. Additionally, Boughner was behind the bench as the Head Coach of the Western Conference All-Star team at the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic hosted by the Spitfires and as an Assistant Coach with Team Orr in the 2010 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game which was also conducted in Windsor.
Prior to his stint behind the bench, Boughner headed a new ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 after retiring from a professional hockey career in which he played for 10 seasons as a defenceman in the NHL. He appeared in 630 games, scoring 72 points and amassing 1382 penalty minutes during his career. He was also named an Assistant Captain with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Captain of the Calgary Flames upon joining these teams. Boughner also served as the Executive Vice-President of the NHLPA Players' Association from 2003 - 2006. He also enjoyed a tremendous three-year career in junior hockey with the OHL's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, serving as captain of the team that won the 1991 OHL Championship.
With an already impressive resume and accomplished career as a player and President and Head Coach of the Spitfires, Boughner will continue to help lead the team in its day to day operations while working for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He currently lives in Tecumseh, Ontario with his wife Jennifer and children Brady, Molly, Emma and Lola.
| Warren Rychel Vice President and General Manager Warren Rychel is entering is his fifth season as Vice-President and General Manager with the Windsor Spitfires. The architect of Windsor's two consecutive MasterCard Memorial Cup and Rogers OHL Championship performances, Rychel's hockey acumen and ability to acquire talented players helped lead the Spitfires to one of the greatest two year runs in CHL history.
His hockey expertise was in full display again last season as he acquired key players
by way of trades such as Zack Kassian, Philipp Grubauer, Marc Cantin and Stephen Johnston, players which were all major contributors to the Spitfires' championship performances.
Last season, Rychel was honoured by the Ontario Hockey League for his outstanding work as he was named the 2008-2009 OHL Executive of the Year. Before achieving all of his success, he was part of the ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 and brings a wealth of experience to this position. Rychel worked as a Professional and Amateur Scout with the Phoenix Coyotes for five years and demonstrated an ability to identify talented players during his tenure. He also played thirteen years professionally including nine years in the NHL, scoring 77 points to go along with 1422 Penalty Minutes. He also won a Turner Cup Championship with the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL in the 1990 season and was also a member of the Colorado Avalanche team, which won the Stanley Cup in 1996.
In his fourth year as General Manager, Rychel's hard work and dedication were again highlighted, as Spitfires Taylor Hall (EDM), Cam Fowler (ANA), Philipp Grubauer (WSH) and Justin Shugg (CAR) were all selected in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft along with Jack Campbell (DAL), and Tom Kuhenhackl (PIT) who will join the Spitfires in the upcoming season. Under Rychel's direction, the Windsor Spitfires will have the opportunity to become the first team in CHL history to win three consecutive MasterCard Memorial Cup Championships. Rychel currently lives in Tecumseh, Ontario with his wife Denise and children Kerby, Maddux and Kendall.
| Peter Dobrich Governor Peter Dobrich is in his fifth season as Governor and Co-Owner of the Windsor Spitfires. Dobrich was part of the ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 and has helped reshape the face of the Windsor Spitfires organization by leading the team in its business operations. He was also an instrumental part of Windsor's successful bid to obtain the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic, a 2009 Subway Super Series game and the 2010 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects game.
Dobrich serves as the President of Private Financial Group, a boutique financial advisory firm in Windsor, Ontario which currently advises 350 family businesses in Canada. He graduated from the University of Windsor Business School with an Honours Bachelor in Commerce in 1993 and currently lives in Lakeshore, Ontario with his wife Laura and three children, Aleksandar, Danijela and Stefan.
| Steve Horne Director of Business Development Steve Horne is in his twentieth season with the Windsor Spitfires, working in various business capacities with the team. Horne previously worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Oshawa Generals from 1989 - 1991 and was a member of the 1990 OHL/Memorial Cup Champion Generals team. He was also an instrumental part of Windsor's successful bid to obtain the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic, a 2009 Subway Super Series game and the 2010 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects game.
Horne joined the Spitfires in 1991 as a Director of Marketing and has since been promoted to his current position as Director of Business Development. He has also served on Marketing Committees with the OHL and is currently a member of the OHL Business Development Committee, and was also the co-founder of the inaugural Focus 2000 Marketing Seminars. He graduated from Durham College with a Diploma in Sports Administration in 1990 and currently lives in Windsor, Ontario with his wife Sharon and three children, Stephanie, Samantha and Shaun.
| Andrea Eidukas-Mooney Office Manager Andrea Eidukas-Mooney is in her fourth season as the team's Office Manager. Andrea graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours in Business Administration. Before obtaining this position, she worked with the Spitfires for five years in various capacities with the team. Andrea currently lives in Lakeshore, Ontario.
| Robert Gagnon Public Relations Coordinator Robert Gagnon is in his seventh season with the team and his second as the Public Relations Coordinator. Robert previously worked as the team's Game Day and Media Coordinator for five seasons.
Prior to joining the Spitfires, Robert worked as an intern at the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame as an Assistant to the Athletic Director and at Laurentian University as part of their Sports Information Department in 2002. Robert gradutated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours, specializing in Sports Administration in 2003 and currently resides in Tecumseh, Ontario.
| Meghan Czerwieniec Office Assistant Meghan Czerwieniec is in her fifth season with the Windsor Spitfires and second as the team's Administrative Assistant. She has worked in various capacities with the team starting out as an intern in 2006.
Meghan graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) specializing in Leisure and Sport Management. She also obtained her Bachelor of Education in 2008, specializing in the Junior/Intermediate level. Meghan currently lives in Maidstone, Ontario.
| Stuart Galloway Game Operations Producer Stuart Galloway is in his third season with the Spitfires, acting as the Game Operations Producer. He joined the team when they moved to the WFCU Centre and was instrumental in the production of the grand opening on December 11, 2008 as well as the game night execution of the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic, the 2009 Subway Super Series game and the 2010 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Galloway is also the proprietor of Galloway Show Productions, producers of trade and consumer shows since 1991. In 1987, he graduated from the University of Windsor with a Degree in Business. He resides in Lakeshore, Ontario and has two daughters, Sydney and Nicole.
| Lynne Rozario Premium Seating Coordinator Lynne is into her second season with the Windsor Spitfires, managing the accounts of Premium Seating members.
Before moving to Windsor for the position, Lynne had worked in the Ontario Hockey League for 4 years in game operations and special event coordination. She is an honours graduate of Lambton College's Sports & Recreation Facility Administration Program and resides in Windsor, Ontario.
| Andrew Rowberry Corporate Sales Account Executive Andrew is in his second season with the Windsor Spitfires and his first as the team's Corporate Sales Executive with the Windsor Spitfires. Last season, Rowberry worked in the team's premium seating department where he led a successful sales and service department.
As the team's Corporate Sales Executive, he will be responsible for managing relationships with sponsors and business partners, and driving brand-building initiatives through advertising sales and promotional campaigns.
Prior to joining the Spitfires organization, Rowberry was in sales and marketing management in the automotive field, serving OEM's and retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
Rowberry is a graduate of St. Clair College (Business Administration) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours in Business Administration) from Northwood University in Michigan. He currently resides in Windsor, Ontario with his wife Pam and son Brock.
| Scott Despins Premium Seating Sales Manager Scott Despins is in his first season with the Windsor Spitfires as Premium Seating Sales Manager, and is responsible for the Sales and Service of Platinum Club Seats and Luxury Suites. Before his hiring, Scott worked for the Premium Seating Sales department as an intern. He is a graduate from St. Clair College with a degree in Business - Marketing, and currently resides in Tecumseh, Ontario. | Nathan Sellon Coordinator of Fan Development Nathan Sellon is entering his first season with the Windsor Spitfires as the team's Coordinator of Fan Development. Nathan recently graduated from Lambton College with a degree in Sports and Recreation Administration. Before obtaining this position, he worked for three seasons with the Ontario Hockey League's Sarnia Sting. He started in 2007 as a game night intern with the Sting and was eventually promoted to act as the team's supervisor of game night interns for the 2009 - 2010 season. Nathan also served as a Flex Pack Sales Associate and a Marketing Assistant during his tenure with the Sting. Nathan currently resides in Leamington, Ontario.
