SHILLER TAKEN WITH #10 PICK IN #OHLU18DRAFT

(Windsor, ON) – 2001-born goaltender Eli Shiller was our first-round pick, #10 overall, in the second annual Ontario Hockey League Under-18 Priority Selection on Wednesday night.
The 5’11, 172-pound Toronto native played for the Vaughan Kings Midget AAAs last season. In 2016-17, he represented the Toronto Titans at the OHL Showcase Cup, appearing in two games and posting a .905 save percentage.
RUSSETT TAKEN AT #30
Kanata native Reid Russett was our second-round pick, #30 overall.
The 6’0, 168-pound left winger played in 36 games for the Smiths Falls Bears U-18s last season, scoring 21 times and adding 27 assists. In 2016-17, he played for the Mississauga Rebels Minor Midgets, posting 51 points in 76 regular season games and another four goals in five games at the OHL Cup.

With the #47 overall pick, we chose Arthur Wang, a 5’11, 160-pound left defenceman from the Richmond Hill Coyotes AAAs.
The 2002-born Aurora, Ontario native posted five points and 24 penalty minutes during the 2017-18 season. He also represented Australia in World Under-18 Division 2A play.
